    Recently had to replace a 7Ah battery in a gate motor. Got a gel deep cycle battery from Regal. Was somewhat more expensive. Have not had any real feedback as to how good they are. Time will tell.

    As said inthread before, have a roll of permoweld 35mm grey cable thats brand new, if any body needs for welding or jumpers will to sellat R100/m if you have clamps I will even fit for you.

    I made myself 2 sets of decent jumper cables using clamps off cheapie cables around 5m long. Also upgraded a couple of friends cables as weld. All with permaweld cable. Never looked back.

    Just beware, if the pin doesnt release the piston in master cylinder completely you wont have reserve brake fluid going in. So oyu might have a problem that the piston travel as long as it should be....
