    Our company vehicle just passed 300k km.

    I sold my sc 2 yrs ago with 350k km.

    Both vehicles gave hassle free km's.

    Probably one of the best vehicles I ever owned!

    Only other reference was that it had rained alot.

    I'd take the Hilux. For all the obvious reasons.

    It costs less, already kitted and more than up to the task.I'd chuck out those 18 inch rims and put on 17's.

    The hilux will also be better...

    On the shorter duration tests power consumption is fairly similar - with ARB being the highest consumer.

    I live on a farm so dirt roads are a given.

    It would seem that Toyota's quality wrt paint has been most dissappointing of late....

    Take it back and have them sort this.

    Not acceptable. There is no way that a gravel road should leave it...

    A constant 100km/h with a 1 HZ is optimistic...

    Especially where hills are involved. Speed can quickly drop to 60/70.

    I love my 1hz, but towing is REALLY unpleasant.

    You can buy a D4D harnass from N1 4x4 - last price quoted was around 40k!

    Going down - 10.4km/l towing a carcass trailer.
    Coming up (to the Free State) - 8.5.

    Makes sense - going down obviously downhill...
