    I have my VW beast on a smart charger- thats about it for now.

    I wonder if insures will offer a reduced premium from 1st of April as vehicle are now a lower risk for those that are standing still.

    also risk of bolts failing, I had bolts that hold the HPFP break on my ex v6 tdi because of over tight bolts.

    well, with Chinese manufacturing price point might be reasonable. seeing the main market will be sub sahara africa and south America- it will have to be below competitors if it is to succeed.

    We have a 15 year old peugeot boxer panel van with 400k km on the clock doing duty in the maintenance dept. Although it needs some repairs annually on average, its got a never say die attitude.

    If been a year now with the V8 TDI treg and so far its been plain sailing. No problems, flowing cost experiences:

    Got it on 128K km now on 156K so 28k kilometers in one year. Including a 4500km...

    Have been there twice since tar road, stayed in malongane but go to du ora one or twice while there as beach and lagoon is nice also to buy prawns.

    Personally I had bad luck with my V6 TDI and its ancillary belt, I had to replace 3 times, first time it slipped of and shredded itself behind the crank shaft pulley damaging the crank shaft seal...

    I moved to an 2011 V8 TDI from a even older 2006 BKS V6 tdi in feb last year.

    V6 tdi is far smoother engine than the V8 tdi- took some getting used to
