Re: Do you like the new Defender?

Pity there is no poll, it would interesting to see the score.
  2. Re: Main battery getting fried in Toyota Landcruiser Bakkie

The second battery could have a dead cell. I'm no expert, but I understand this will cause the primary battery to try to compensate and it will be a huge load, almost like a dead short.

Discovery 1 Re: Performance Mods Question

For USD$2000 I'd rather find a decent 4.6 engine or else drop a Small Block into it.

Re: R350 000.00 What would you buy?

The D22 chassis of the NP300 is miles stronger than the new Nav in my opinion. Not even close to being the same thing.

MediaRelease: Re: Planning a MTB trip from PTA to CPT

I strongly suggest you have a chase vehicle. MTB riders are considered easy prey these days, the criminals have realised that you're often riding a very expensive bicycle.

    Be alert, be safe.

you mentioned sabotage and I responded in that context

but I agree, I'd be very nervous about having my ECU flashed by some cyber criminal: apparently they hacked an American ECU recently?

I'll test drive anything, but I'm not impressed. And I don't have any brand loyalty, I'm loyal to my hard earned cash. I'm at a stage in my life where I'd rather invest R1m in something decent.
