    I would also like to see what happens if you run your current shaft between the centers of a lathe. Find many shafts to be way out.

    Numerous vehicles use double cardian.
    In person I think your angles are fine.
    Do you have vibrations in 4x4.
    Look at the factory angles of the old F250 4x4:s They ran sweet with no ill effects...

    According to my Toyota Dealer in Kuruman they do have stock on the thermostat.
    I gave them the part no from Toyotdiy and they gave me the alternative on the system.

    You get all the spares for older Cruisers from Toyota. If you order and pay up front they are eager to help. Issue is with parts ordered incorrectly. Just checked the other day with our local dealer...

    On BF`s for the last 20 years. Cannot remember exactly how many sets. They have treat me well. All sets done 80k km plus.
    The current set on the 79 closing in on 90k km and still looking good....

    No intention to give the wrong advice. The best would be to replace. We have straighten many bend rods on the farm and on trails. Easy to damage on a SFA 4x4 vehicle.
