Re: Solar System for Home ( yet another :)

If solar is providing 1kW and my load on the essential side is 4kW, the shortfall (3kW) will come from the grid. This works perfectly.

If my essential load = 1kW and the non-essential is 2 KW and...

Discovery 2: Re: Disco 2 OBDII port fault

If im not mistaken the td5 has a unique / proprietary protocol that only the nanocom can read. No other device can read the ecu etc.

Plug in a nanocom and see if it works as a first, quick test.

Discovery 2: Re: TD5 Head Gasket Again?

I don't think you need oil pump bolts.

Cam, flywheel, head, crank, that's it.

Dover used to keep them, if they've stopped then agents only.

Have you tried the LR spares place in Alberton?

    Re the no battery question.

If you have solar but no batteries, and the grid is down, then according to some, it should not work!
