    Yes, Pat is correct. What you can do is to drive to Kaa gate and check if the site is available, if it is not available you could leave the park for a night and sleep at one of the sites in the KD1...

    If possible with your bookings, you could spilt the travel and spend one night at Kaa Gate campsite, most probably with water.... and a cold shower...

    and then move on to Polentswa next day

    Thiere is also no water at Gnus Gnus, just a concrete slab for the fire, that's all.

    You can drive to Kaa Gate and ask if you could load water in your tanks at the gate or at campsite Kaa gate nbr...

    Indeed Diggy, there is just a concrete slab for a fire....... same at Gnus Gnus and Swart Pan.... it is a real wilderness trail area, however it is nice there!
