    A Land Cruiser 4.5 GX is a 105 with SFA and 4.5 l straight six engine. The 100 is the VX with IFS and 4.7l V8 petrol or 4.2 diesel.

    Ok then. I had the same problem on a Mercedes C180K. Turned out the rear light "cluster"or holder was actually faulty. Had to replace the unit. It is the plastic frame which holds the bulbs.

    Wicus, the 2.2 D4D engines were known for blowing head gaskets due to too short head bolts. Toyota repaced many subs. Never heard of one breaking a crank though.

    Since you are in Europe, also consider the Renault Kangoo 4x4 and Fiat Panda 4x4. They are smallish and have very good ground clearance

    True, just a pity Nissan dropped the ball a bit with their last diesel engine option. The TB42 would have done better, but then Nissan marketing.......!!!
