    Run in brakes will heat the rim after braking. What I like to do is to gently come to a stop after highway driving and then feel the rims. They will be warm but should not be hot.

    Smart battery charger from midas or ctek charger. They are a little bit more expensive but should extended your battery life. I don't get a lot of joy from trickle chargers.
