  2. Re: Timing on later VW Engines - can you skip a tootch?

  3. Timing on later VW Engines - can you skip a tootch?

I replaced the timing belt on the 1.9 TDi a few times without issues. Last night I did the belt on the 1.2 Bluemotion, engine CFWA. when I start it, the glow plug flashes. I drove it around 25km...

  6. Discovery 3 Re: 2005 Discovery 3 V8 SE Hard ride... are shocks finished?

Most likely the bushes. I fitted Superpro in front in 2016 as the rubber lasted 70k on average in front. Roughly at 220 000 I had to replace the front bags and shocks. Then about a year ago I...

Bennie, that is exactly what happened to me after fitting the tank initially. Originally I simply connected the 2nd tank's breather to the primary's overflow that returns into the filler neck. That...

If you find a new one let me know. Mine lasted 15 years and in the end the vulcanising perished on the seams where it folds.

    Discovery 4 Re: E-clutch failure - ZF6HP28

The vehicle manufacturers started the "sealed for life" bs, remember this was when scrapping schemes and 3-year ownership was in vogue. ZF themselves specified a 80 000 km oil change IIRC

35K at ZF if the Valve Body is ok, 45 if its not. Keep in mind as per the discussion yesterday, no amount of flushing, Dr Tranny etc will fix a box if the adaption values progress beyond the limits.
