  1. Re: Mahindra scorpio pik up, new pik up wheel spacers

How would you reduce them to 30 mm? On a lathe or something?

If so, at least it would give you the option if you found 30 mm was too fat, you could turn them down some more.

Re: Mahindra Pikup (Scorpio) Recovery Points

Sad story about the recovery points. Took it to the local 4WD shop, they put it on the hoist for a good look. The guy was not happy with putting recovery points on the bullbar because of the way it...

    Mahindra Pikup (Scorpio) Recovery Points

Hi, my 2014 pikup has a bullbat and winch fitted, i want to fit some front recovery points so if I'm winching out I could use a pulley and hook back to the vehicle and double up on pulling power.

Re: Mahindra should I trust the Reliability?

I am with Chris, at the money you are prepared to pay you could be buying another bunch of issues, better to stay with what you have.

Nothing is guaranteed, but my feeling is you have this vehicle...

Re: Mahindra should I trust the Reliability?

Me, I'd be reluctant to buy a second hand scorpio (pikup)with 78,000 on it, used on a farm, driven by who knows.

That's because as an owner myself, I feel like I have to take good care of my...

Re: What Can A Scorpio Do?

The vehicles I know of with these issues were serviced regularly. Thing is, when water gets in, rust and deterioration start immediately, a service every 40 or 50 thousand km's will not prevent that....

Re: How reliable is the Mahindra Scorpio S11?

Thanks for that detailed breakdown Hawkeye, that is a very modest list of repairs for an offroad 4x4 at such a mileage.

Taking such obvious care of it no doubt prevented other issues (such as...

    Definately a risk.

Hard to know if the driver is super experienced, drives it every day, and knows it exactly. Or, other scenario, blissfully unaware, with no clue how close he was to death.

Not sure if overdesigned. Looks to me like the maker considered the roof too light of an anchor point for the weight he would like the rack to carry, so put some struts down to sturdier places.
