  1. Re: I need to get from Bloem to Dullstroom advice please?

We can check into our accommodation from 14:00, so no real rush.
  2. Re: I need to get from Bloem to Dullstroom advice please?

I don't think this will be possible, unfortunately.
  3. I need to get from Bloem to Dullstroom advice please?

    As per above.

    What is the best route?

We need to be there on Saturday.

Do I drive to my SIL's place in Pretoria on Friday night and then continue from there (they are also going to...

I have the same on my XC60. So far they have performed very well in dry, wet, gravel, sand and even slightly muddy offroad situations.

    Erm ja.

Google M272 balance shafts issues. Stay far away. Will make the Kompressor engines cam sprocket issues look like a walk in the park.

When you say "financed" by your mother... is she going to put down the cash or is she going to finance through a bank?

If she is using a bank, you won't be able to buy anything older than 2011...

    Re: Tyre shortage

I went looking for 235/65/17 today. Fairly common size IMO.

My go-to supplier said that they really didn't have any options for me since there was no stock, might take a week or two. Very strange.

Re: Is my new Toyota genuinely new or repaired?

I have repaired many "new" vehicles for dealers. It does happen.

However, I think your Corolla is 100% factory, bar the scratches.

That's good news. I guess this is not the 4x4 version?

I think the extra 4x4 mechanicals and the very soft Winter Tyres (lots of rolling resistance) is taking it's toll on the consumption. Also,...

Re: I bought a small red Italian car...

Yes the 6 speed box works very well. First gear is very short to give you "low range" for offroading, and 6th gear is a bit longer for highway cruising.

Reviews are very favourable. The TwinAir...

    Erm, ja.

That addictive thrum and turbo boost does come at a cost. My town driving is sitting around 8l/100km at the moment. Which is A LOT for such a small car and engine.

    I've filled up and...

No, it's not a sexy roadster of some description. :-[

The estimate on the system (based on last prices) comes to around R13k. :o
