Re: Kombi 4motion as overlanding vehicle

Thanks for all the replies thus far. I think I should avoid reading this thread any further, because it's giving me an itch that probably shouldn't be scratched. I'm not doing heavy offroading...

Re: D4- Botswana trip and tyres

Road or offroad rated tires? If offroad you've got no problems. Deflate to max 1.8 (lower for loose sand) and enjoy. In general I took mine down to 1.5 in sandy conditions.

You'll have no problem with either caravan. Just deflate tires and enjoy.

    Re: Grenadier Pricing revealed

I doubt they've thought about that. Their immediate strategy would be to ride the "camel man Defender guy" perception and to have some sort of ROI. In general people with money got it by thinking...

    Re: Grenadier Pricing revealed

Indeed. The anti-Defender whiners are simply struggling to adapt with the 21st century.

I'd love a Grenadier in it's own right; not as some sort of Defender wannabe. The price does make it less...

Re: Solar needed for namakwa eco trail

Begin quite a noob on this, I think you output is going to be way too much for a 15A charger and one battery. The size of your solar can be 100000W, but you battery can only take so much in.

    I'd...

Op die T waar die chassis sterk is. Daar is 2 grootte jacks beskilbaar. Vir die Goggas, kry die korter een sodat hy vertikaal kan opvou langs die chassis.

Yzerfontein - weekend boat storage needed
