    What does your temperature gauge in the dash display? Is it sort of in the middle or towards the high end of the gauge in the dash?

    Simple things lead to this end result;

    1. The quoted fees was simply to cheap.
    2. The expected completion time was not realistic.

    Well, that means the Defender is no more and will only live on by name with this vehicle (Which is most probably based on one of the current Land Rover platforms).

    This is a really strange looking vehicle and quite difficult to picture what it will look like without all the visual obscuring camouflage.

    Tyre pressure Monitor for 6 wheels

    My tyre pressure system can monitor from 1 to 18 wheels. Best one available in my opinion.

    There are two sensors on the engine;

    1. Coolant temperature sensor.
    2. MAF sensor inside the air intake pipe (past the air filter box).

    There are various temperature readings but it depends on your App if they are all displayed. On the Jimny it reads the enjin coolant (radiator), the engine (head/block) and the intake airflow or MAF...

    1. Remove the ashtray.
    2. Remove the metal bracket the ashtray slides into. 3 screws, one at the back, two in the front.

    For the two vehicles you mention and how long you are planning to keep it as per your OP; the Jeep is the obvious choice if it is in the same price range as the Touareg.
