    Put a few wraps of plumber's PTFE tape around it in a pinch.
    You'll have to secure the stud against turning in further when you torque it, but that will seal it for sure.

    I have a Loctite Thread Sealant at home, it has a white label on the bottle and says "Thread Sealant" it also doubles as a thread locker.
    Loctite 1158514 is a specific head bolt and water jacket...

    Were the studs fitted with thread sealant at build-up?
    I haven't been inside one of those engines for ages, but I seem to recall some threads were direct into the water jacket and required sealant...

    It's not just automotive lamps that do this, I have a few LED house lights that do that.
    One is an E14 candelabra type, other is an E27 bedside lamp. The E14 has a slight glow for a much longer time...

    D1 is the same as D2, Defender & Range Rover, only ratios are different.
    Range Rover Classic has a 1:1 ratio that will stretch the legs nicely.

    The wheel sensor could be something as silly as grease. I read somewhere that you need to cover the probe of the sensor with grease for some reason, don't ask me why.

    The ticking noise could be an exhaust manifold leak at a cylinder port,if you're lucky.
    If not, then the next port of call would be the camshaft. They are known to wear the lobes and still sound/run...

    Low or is it random levels? I ask because the fuel pump body has a non return "valve" that keeps the swirl pot full of fuel for the pump...
