  2. Re: Need opinion on National Luna portable battery

Eish, by coincidence, I also have a 20 Amp solar controller fixed to the side of the NL battery box and two 80w solar panels. Panels are fixed together with hinges, portable with 9m flex, not fixed...
  3. Re: Need opinion on National Luna portable battery

Yes you need a double battery system, when stationary, fridge runs off NL battery pack, say 6 hours during the day or ten hours during the night - dependent on outside temp and strength of...

    Re: Nog sulke Prados?

Ek sal seker maak die "breather" van die tenks is oop en laat genoeg lug in. Probeer om petrolprop oop te draai as dit gebeur en hoor of daar 'n suiggeluid is.

Hi, I am confused, here I am idling my turbo diesel after hard work and you are adding a blanket. Please enlighten me, is that to keep the heat away from other parts of the engine?
  20. Re: Dual battery recommendations. What to get? High vs Deep

Royal 1150k battery, great quality - I am in year five with mine. Keep it on trickle charger when not in use, works a charm. However only used about four times a year for longer periods.

  25. Re: NL dual battery kit in a Grand Vitara

Agree with Fearless - NL box draws ,via its own clever solenoid, draws from the engine battery, which implies that alternator will charge until both batteries are fully charged.

  28. Re: 2007 Triton 2.5DiD 4x4 Starting issues

Jaco, not an expert mech. It seems the starter turns but does not crank the motor. My limited knowledge points to a stuck bendix. Thus the starter motor spins, but does not engage on the fly wheel....
