    My 2c. We bought 6 Tata Xenons for a large construction site in 2008. They were all on the scrap heap by 2013.

    P.S. they operated on site only and never left Lephalale area..

    In general those socktets can hanldle about 120W or 10A. Two 105Ah bateries at 50% discharge will draw way more than that, so no go.

    A "beginner" overland driver (I was there also) will inevitably make mistakes that could easily cause great damage to Independent Suspension Parts.

    I did my Patrol TD42 compression test myself - 6 cylinders - 40min
    Includes removing air box,glow plugs and stuff in the way - test, fit glow plugs fit back Air box and everything else

    Here is a simple test for you:

    Fit one of each of the tyres you have to decide between (Widths must be the same to compare apples/apples)

    Pump the tyres to 2.5 Bar

    Park the vehicle on sheets...
