  4. Re: Ridiculous maintenance cost of Freelander II

I have the T-shirt for the TDV6. I have now owned my FL for 8 months, and no issues except for an oil leak that was fixed by dealer. In the same amount of time of ownership the TDV6 already stood at...
  5. Re: Ridiculous maintenance cost of Freelander II

In what world? Please back up your statement with proof?
  6. Re: Ridiculous maintenance cost of Freelander II

Yes, I do. Think about it this way. How often do you replace shocks? And or tyres? So, if you go really cheapy tires, lets call it 1.5k per tyre or whatever, and 2 shocks, you have a bill of 9-10k....
  7. Re: Ridiculous maintenance cost of Freelander II

Dude, if you can't afford that maintenance, which in today's terms are actually not that bad, keeping in mind that most of those are wear and tear items, how will you fix a ranger if it breaks? I'm...
  8. Re: Do you have the right? A rant about spineless individuals spreading rumors.

This part above is the most important to me. We recently bought a bag of dogfood, and after a couple of days I noticed it had mold on it. This is the same brand I have been using for years, and I...

I recently did my front pads and discs at Safety Brake and Clutch in Edenvale, cost me about 2500 bucks, including labor.

    Re: New Eskom pricing proposal

No, I don't think so. It will be a case of dropping the usage charge with like 10 cents per kilowatt, and charging you a minimum, probably based on your property value or something, same as you get...

Grand Cherokee Re: 2005 WK 3.0 CRD Battery Light

Can't you have it fixed rather than replace. There was a guy who fixed mine in PTA for the D3 at a fraction of the price of a new alternator.

Phone safety brake and clutch in edenvale. I have found them to be very cheap compared to dealers. I did the front brake pads and discs on my FL2 and I think it was about 2500 including fitment.
