Re: Finally, another Dustbin in the garage...

Makro, you need to re-programme it. The up and down one-touch needs to be set up. Normally just doing it one way will programme it for both ways, but then sometimes it loses either the up or the down...

Re: Finally, another Dustbin in the garage...

Those Bridgestone are great tyres, I have had 5 sets now, between the Terrano and my Pathfinder, next time maybe go to 265/70 x 17s. They fit perfectly, gives a slight bit more height...

    Re: Camp Table (Wood/Plastic/Aluminium)

He no longer employs the guy who made the tables. Him and his current staff cannot do so. He told me this on two occasions in the past 5 or 6 years when I tried to get him to make them for friends.

Re: Insulin storage in a compact fridge

Unfortunately not. Thermo coolers cool to a max of 25 degrees below ambient, in hot weather sometimes only 15 or 20 degrees. Insulin should ideally be kept around 5 to 8 degrees C, but up to 12 or 15...

  17. Looking for a Merc specialist Stellenbosch, Strand or CT area

    Re: Built in braai help

The bigger the hole in the front, the longer the chimney has to be to cause an up-draught when the fire gets going.

So either make the front aperture smaller or your chimney longer!

  23. Re: Can I wire 10w spotlights straight to my brights

HobieDave is correct about the switch, it is a legal requirement.

It must connect to the brights ONLY, but must have a switch to be able to turn them off when the brights are on.

  28. Re: Is a Nissan Patrol better than a Toyota Landcruiser?

Petri, jy sal eers 'n paar hoenders moet kry, hulle bekke moet oopmaak en kyk of jy enige tande kan vind.

Ek dink jy sal meer hoendertande vind as 4.8 GL Patrols wat te koop is....

Re: New General Grabbers on the way

Correct, not actual plies. Nor do the say it is 8 or 10 plies.

    It's 8 or 10 pr.

i.e. 8 ply rated or 10 ply rated, meaning it is rated as strong as an old cross ply tyre of that number of...
  31. Re: Is a Nissan Patrol better than a Toyota Landcruiser?

Very similar from what I hear how the guys talk, anything from 4km/lt to about 6.5, maybe even 7km/lt.

This is on the Patrol 4.5 and 4.8. I believe that the 4.5 EF! Cruiser is very similar....
