Nothing prevents you from doing it, except your conscience. It is exactly like removing the CAT, EGR and throwing your rubbish out the window.

  5. Re: Help! #Trailblazer 3.6 Difficulties : Finding Fuel Pump and Starter

    1) Isuzu parts will in all probability not help.
    2) For the fuel flow problem, start with replacing any and all fuel filters. If that doesn't help, take the fuel pump to any auto electic shop for a...

Re: Ford 3,2 manual vs auto

Does the Ford auto transmission have a dipstick?
If so, and if the oil is the correct colour and clean and not smelly and if it drives fine, then why not.

    Re: Towing in 4th

With a manual box you really should target the direct drive gear for heavy towing. It used to be 4th gear, but the 6 speed boxes may be different.
  8. Re: Pajero 3.2 Gen3 immense dash rattles on gravel/corrugated roads

I think when this Covid thing is over, I'll pop in to see you on my way to attend an F1 race again. Then we can drink a few warm beers and strip my rental car's dash, just for old time's sake.

    Re: Fortuner rear stabilizer NEEDED

Yip, but the OP has it all correct. It is just the title of the tread that is confusing. In any case, those Fortuners aren't equipped with rear stabilizer bars.

  12. Ford & Mazda Re: Ford Ranger Auto "slipping" between gears

Very normal. You are experiencing the lock-up clutch in the torque converter doing exactly what it is supposed to do. That drop in revs is the clutch locking up.

Re: Price of new Pajero SWB (2007 - 2011)

A car with a logical sequence of services can not have a turned back odometer.
A diesel turbo that doesn't have an acceptable service record is a really big risk.
