    Re: Touareg transmission oil change

So I changed the 2011 V8 Diesel's transmission oil the same way.

Let car idle and pump out oil, the moment pressure drops we switch it off. This time I managed to pump out 5.7 litres..

    On the...

I see that there is a 2011 V8 Diesel on Autotrader for R259k and it has 148k km on the clock.

    Looks good on the pictures.

    Re: Treg Owners

On the V10 waterpump, R5k is reasonable if you compare to the price in the states.

I imported my v8 petrol's fuel pumps at less than half the price of VW, I checked water pump now and it is about...

    Re: Treg Owners

Replaced the Auto Transmission oil on my 2011 V8 Tdi today. Same story as when I did my 2007 Petrol V8, makes a huge difference. No more sluggish, indecisive pull away and more more accurate gear...

    Jeep CJ Spares for sale

I do not want to list these in the for sale section because I do not want to list them one by one and they are only JEEP CJ5 related, thus it is more relevant in this section.

This is what is possible if you can manage to do between 80 and 90 km/h for 122km

Yesterday we drove our old Jeep Overlander back from CPT to Langebaan.

    Re: Treg Owners

How do one remove this panel ? I tried pulling it but it sits tight. I do not want to force too much, afraid of breaking it.

There is a rattle behind it. Is on a 2011 Model.

    Re: Air Helpers - Oppas!!!

I do not fully understand how the air helper can break the springs.

It is a baloon sitting directly between the chassis and axle . So when you pump it up, it will reduce the load on the springs....

I also like the old rims much better.

The original 19" rims stand proud, thus they will easily get damaged when offroading.
