    I think the water pump issue was on the earlier 2007 + models, 2012 and up I think the issue was resolved by Toy

    Number 58. Now on 150 000km no issues other then a few extra scratches. Still love it every day!

    As dirtshark says. Mine did the same eventually the module got so messed up that it made my FJ's indicator lights go mad (without trailer). The module is a complete plug and play unit from Toyota...

    That is correct. Same engine as the FJ. My FJ has the same cover as on right but I do see FJ's with the cover on left. My reasoning is that they probably changed it on later models.

    So changing shocks on a FJ is an expensive exercise if one is not rolling in cash, no Monroe or Gabriel option available. Toyota OE not even an option got a quote for R 4 200 per shock!

    That looks to me like the fancy options you get in 4x4's these days gravel, sand, mud/snow or rock setting? Mine has none of these fancy stuff 2012 model. That would be my guess.
