Did you have rain in April?

That is a very nice set up you have.
    What is the gazebo/tent brand?

Any tips for 3 weeks stay - essentials equipment wise.

The only one I saw last year.

Two years ago big herds of eland came in from Botswana for water. At least some seem to have stayed - there were fair...

Stevan - First night at Twee Rivieren then a night at Nossob followed by Grootkolk. (Wanted to arrive at Grootkolk early). Then 2 nights Nossob and 2 Mata.

I agree about staying longer in camps -...

Re: Leisure batteries: storage versus weight

I have a Flexopower panel and am very happy with it.

Just two limitations to ponder: Firstly although you can tie them down with rope-pegs wind is something to think about. The conventional heavy...

Re: Leisure batteries: storage versus weight

My 120AH battery takes a hammering if temperatures are high. I would not like to think about relying on 60AH.

I would suggest solar as a solution -
(I am happy with 160W solar minimum.

I bought the Tentco Extreme 20l for Jimny. Just the right size for us.

Medium format cameras are surely the way to go with landscapes.

    I find even the best Dslr's don't

The big advantage of this type of canister stove is that you don't have stability problems - nothing can fall over.
  34. Re: Hardshell RTT & Gas bottle?? Where to store it?

I like the Maple for early morning coffee as they look stable and are very compact. Cape Union Mart sells the Fire Maple locally . There are two models 102 (R399) and 103 (R325).
