Only trailer GVM is applicable when checking if you are legal. What is loaded is immaterial unless overloaded beyond GVM.

To be able to give you 500VA @ 220V it has to draw 42A @12V from the batteries. Just allowed for double for possible startup of an appliance issue.

On 220V side you will at most deal with 5A
