    Yup, as far as I know the later ones had an upgraded radiator. Mine is an earlier model.

    Taking the intake manifold is not difficult at all, provided you have a school girl on standby to reach the difficult places.

    Leave the cosmetic stuff for last. First make sure that the mechanics are sorted, especially the coolant system. These motors seriously don't like to overheat.

    Check the exhaust manifold and exhaust for cracks and leaks. Make sure the two sump plug bolts that blocks off the o2 sensor holes are tightly screwed in.

    Have diagnostics done to check for faults. Should be under R300. If the Vanos seals haven't been replaced, diagnostics will give a Vanos stuck error. Order seals from Beisan at $32.

    As far as I know it is fine. My thinking is that Ctek wouldn't have supplied the the connectors that bolt to the battery if the weren't meant to be used.

    As far as I know one shouldn't use the recondition setting on Ctek chargers while the battery is connected to the vehicle.

    Problem is that on second inspection it doesn't seem to be the cap. It seems to come from the engine block.

    I've sprung a coolant leak under the throttle body. There is a little black pipe with a cap over it that started leaking.

    What is this part called? All my googling results on m52 coolant parts...
