    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Yes and their margin is probably higher on this vehicle as well. The old Defender was very costly to produce.

Given they would need to sell a few to justify the R&D though but time will tell...

    Re: New Maxxis Razzor AT

I have the 245 Razrs on my Disco 1 and 285 Razrs on my Defender Td5 and it is the quietest mud I have used so I have no doubt the AT will be excellent.. My 90 still has Grabber X3s on it but will...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

The only reason they do that is purely because of our Chinese friends because when they see the styling they copy it and release it to market before the orginal is even on sale. Can't blame Land...

Re: Defender 130 Suspension Upgrade - who?

I only skim read most of it so that is my disclaimer but as someone pointed out the standard Land Rover set up is very good. IF you not lifting it I would stick with Genuine coils and Koni heavy...

100% but the previous poster was claiming he could not take a photo which is allowed. It was only test drives that were not.

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

I also think so but then again the new Defender front isn't great for me either but put a bullbar on it and it will look 100% better.

    Re: Is this it?

They really are trying to be everything to everybody, time will tell if it works. I would prefer to load a pallet with a fork lift onto a bakkie or pick up but that's just me.

    Re: Snorkel (Air Intake) Advice

That's far from ideal. I think with the cheap ones there is no consistancy in the quality.

I have the Mantec on my Puma which was direct from Land Rover when the car was bought and a cheap safari...

    Re: Maxxis AT980 advice

I have no experience with the AT980 but have had Bighorns and the new Razr on my Defenders and Disco.

Can honestly say never had an issue with Maxxis, even use them on my mountain bike.

Discovery 3 Re: D3 V8 with normal brakes?

I do the same with Brit-Car they excellent, don't even bother phoning around SA anymore.

I use JLR Classic for the part number and then just search it on their website, quick and easy.

    Re: Is this it?

I finaly went to see it in the flesh and I like it but not as a Defender.

There is no ways it will keep up with an old Defender with larger tyres, 50mm lift and lockers. Zero chance.

    Some will...

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

I'll check mine tomorrow but don't see any mechanical reason why it still can't be a 7 seater because you have taken the airbags out.
