Defender Re: Defender td5 brakes fading

Some long overdue feedback, replaced the booster and rebuilt the master with a kit. I suspect a proper bleeding with new oil also helped.

In future I may have a look at braided hoses as they are...

Defender Re: What have you done with your Defender today?

It really is an unpleasant job. I tried to seal around the edges to stop dust getting into the cab but I suspect to no avail.

I trust the water level sensor and aftermarket coolant temp sensor. The EGT gauge also gives some piece of mind.

The thermostat and waterpump is about a year old, if the sweat becomes anything...

Defender Re: What have you done with your Defender today?

Both have been replaced 12 months ago and still feel tight as a button.

Water pumps aren't that expensive and I suppose I could replace the AC bearing as preventative maintenance.
