Defender Re: TD5 Throttle Pedal Potentiometer

If you can get a diagram of the pins you should be able to check it out with a decent multimeter and a power supply.
Depending on the type, it will either have 2 or 3 wire wound coils with sweepers...

    Re: Stahlwille

Depending on the sizes it covers, and general condition of the sockets themselves, I'd maybe go up to 2k for it.
The sockets are available at the Milnerton flea market or at Pawn shops.

    Re: Discovery 2 v8 Airlock

I fitted an aux tank to a friend's Disco and the big pipe at the top effectively feeds both tanks, while the small one at the bottom is to let the aux tank transfer to the main as the level drops.

Discovery 1 Re: Disco 1 Auto: flexible cooler lines?

One of my R380 pipes chafed through and it cost me a new gearbox, and I went the flexible route, too.
I cut the ends of the pipes off at the radiator side and just past where they go under the...

    Re: removeable winch built

This is probably going to be the easiest way to do it, with some heavy duty electrical connectors and suitable cable runs to either end of the vehicle and Harrison connectors.

    Re: Thoughts on trailer deck

I wouldn't galvanise the old sheet as it will buckle and warp badly, rather galvanise the frame etc and fit a new galvanised sheet.
