Re: Deep cycle or High cycle

You can be unlucky that one dont charged sufficient in a cycle situation and fail premature.

Many so called deep cycles are actually semi deep cycle and work good enough as a high cycle.

Re: Isuzu MUX if i really do not like Fortunas??

Isuzu is not a bad vehicle, but the agents are not always. Isuzu engine definitely more reliable than the GD, for the rest I prefer Toyota. But never had a Tuna, and will not buy one also. Prefer a...

Re: R350 000.00 What would you buy?

Agree. Having two 79 cruisers. Nothing wrong with a 'modern DC'. Not bad for a daily drive and enough space, and capable, for a longer trip etc. Back seats maybe not as comfortable for adults. ...
  7. Re: charging or operating a laptop with a modified sine wave inverter?

    Re: TPMS - Temperature Setting

I set it on 60. Just to have an early warning, but so far never had a temperature warning. With a slow puncture you usually get a pressure warning long before it reach those temperatures.
  9. Re: charging or operating a laptop with a modified sine wave inverter?

Yes I use a modified sine inverter for my laptop, wives hairdryer, microwave oven, charging camera batteries, power drill, solder iron, and the TV with power outages to watch rugby:)

    On the farm...
  10. Re: charging or operating a laptop with a modified sine wave inverter?

The laptop work of DC volts from a battery, so no need for a pure sine inverter, as it only powers the charger.

Re: Help Echo Power Panel Model EPP12AS

No, its for a solar panel itself (max 100 watt) to be connected directly to echo box. As said if it is in the echo box. They say optional, so it might be not?, as there is no plug in that 'Sol'...

Probably one reason why Toy requires a 5000km oil change on the 1Hz machine.:)

And requires regular inspection of the air filter and replacement if 'extremely dirty '.

    Re: Snorkel or not?

Yes a snorkel is a pre- cleaner also, maybe not as effective as a cyclone pre-cleaner, however I have never seen grid in the air cleaner box after the snorkel.
