    Re: Khaudum Park

I am considering a trip to the area in 2020,

Would the Sikeretti camp and the new Khaudum camp in the North be the only places one would be allowed to camp inside Khaudum Park?

Re: Patrol Replacement for my Discovery 4

Just remember that the particular model you are looking, at circa R400k, still has a lot of value to lose. Justifiably or not, those models lose their value much quicker than the equivalent Cruisers....

Re: Ongeluk op van Zyl's pas

Van Zyls pass is very far from any town. And road conditions make it a very long drive too. The best part of one day's drive to a garage. It is in Kaokoland, find it on Google Earth.
    There are small...

    Re: Leopard Incident- Matopi

There are tents, and then there are tents.

E.g. a "pop-up" tent feels far more exposed to me than a canvass tent.
Maybe it is only a false sense of security I get from a stronger canvass type...

Do you still here the sound now that the guilty fan belt is removed?
If it only drives the aircon compressor, ,you would be okay. But may be a hot drive home.

Does anyone know where this obstacle is?

This is an 80s Cruiser filmed by Johan Swift

But I have no idea where it is?

So it seems that you have the 4.8 currently.
    Why bother changing?
I respect everyone's personal preferences. So I am not trying to do the brand thing here.
