    Next time use pool acid, will cut that waiting period down to about 30 to 45 minutes. Any chance of posting some pics, hope we are not derailing the thread.

    All I know is that you cover the blade in clay to slow down the cooling process, the more clay the slower the cooling. So the cutting edge will have less clay(if any), cool down quicker than the rest...

    Very happy to report that everything got sold at more than expected. Still sit with the old cameras with limited space and will have to get rid of that at some or other stage.
