    Merc car oil very cheap at dealers. Around R280/ 5l. Using 11l on my 2.2 diesel Sprinter on oil changes so was relieved buying from them. Gearbox oil might be cheaper as well?

    I had the same problem on roughly same km. It turn out to be a very small grey plastic gear on top of transfer case that stripped or broke. Mine was 2004 model.

    Soul clutch is very light and should be the same as on I20 I would guess. Most of the time I change without clutch, except in 1st pulling away off-course. Gearbox very light.

    Golden rule on 3.2 , never run out of diesel as pump will then die.
    Replace thermostat every 200 000 km.
    Advice from one of their best mechanics.

    Replaced with iron man and recommended. Front shocks only lasted 150 000k . Replaced those with KONI and recommended. If you do offroad and heavy loads, iron man was very good with around 40mm lift....
