Does anyone know if there is someone in Bela Bela that offers a vehicle license renewal service, one you can recommend and have maybe used yourself? The one where you just send...
With the Cruiser, around 5,5km/l but goes down to 4km/l when leaving the blackstuff and engaging 4x4.
Fortuner, 7,8km/l, haven't done any off road towing with it yet.
Try Louw at Delta 4x4, he might be able to help, if for some or other reason not, he might know of someone.

Maybe also try Lee Porter from Kavango Engineering.

Having bought my first autobox vehicle in January and never having towed with one, I need some advice. I have a Companion that I’ve always towed with my Cruiser, no issues, no...

Too expensive, I've opted for a Freedomwon and Victron setup instead of the Tesla setup. And like you said, around a R100K cheaper.
I received the below three weeks ago.
Option 2: TESLA PW + 5kWp Solar Kit
This is a top of the range product. See Quotation Q15480, the package comprises of the following;

Hi, I have a Willard 650 in my 76 and have had no issues to date, replaced the previous Willard with another Willard when it was time.
Hi Danie
I tow a Conqueror Companion. When full I pump my rear tires to 2.5 and I leave my front tires at 2.2, trailer at 2.8. I do the same whether using the Cruiser or Fortuner. It will be...
You are a 100% correct. If it has more legs than you, you won't outrun it, except for a Tortoise ofcourse...
All my Walking Guides in the Linyanti carry rifles. It's a requirement that they do shooting assesments at least once per annum.
Now is probably the worst time to buy Land Cruiser, especially a V8. The dealers have no skaam in overcharging you. It was a breath of fresh air when I saw a dealer advertising a new V8 Single Cab...
Before the 76 Series V8 I owned a 4.2 76 Series. I loved the 4.2, there was nothing wrong with it, hell, I even kitted the V8 to look exactly like the 4.2. The deal breaker however was one day...
I'd say that the 2.8 4x4 is the way to go. I have a 76 Series V8 Land Cruiser that's pretty much sitting in the garage since I bought the Fortuner at the begining of this year.
Hi jcdp, the Concession I manage is NG15, wish it was mine though...
True and not true...
There is pretty much always water in the Savuti Channel, it just doesn't reach the public areas. The Channel starts on our Concession and almost always has water, just not...
It's operational again.
Peter, as mentioned before, you tend to come across extremely negative should someone differ in their opinion of something you like, or if someone does something different than the way you do it.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I'm totally biased but would suggest you look at the Conqueror Companion. It's served me well over the years, on the less and more challenging spots we always try and...

It will lead to a longer 2nd day drive (just a bit ore than 500km) but try Khama Rhino Sanctuary.
Yes, there is diesel at Rakops, well there was when I filled up there last year November.
Best is to take fuel with when leaving Maun. There used to be a small filling station on the other side...

Has anyone had any actual contat with this company, especially their CEO, other than driving to their office? I've been trying my best to get a hold of Gary Davies for very long now. I'm in...
This, from Kalahari Safari, is good advice, follow it.
I live in the Linyanti and do A LOT of sand driving each and every day, I still get stuck from time to time, do not under estimate the sand...
Correct, their Chips are always fresh. I was at School with Adriano's younger brother Jaco. Chipppos is just as good, flip, we're spoilt for choice in Nelspruit. Chippos, Maroti's, Atlantic.
Didn't he (the old man) end up in Komatipoort as well for a while? I remember my parents and their buddies going to Komatipoort and eating Prawns like there's no tomorrow, also at a place called...
