    I used shutter board on my old trailer, was perfect, treated with a decking paint!
    Replaced it once in about 10 years, not because I needed to but because I wanted to!

    My Defender has no TC button (or any other buttons for that matter) , TC comes on automatically when needed. I don't recall it coming on in low range, maybe it does?

    I have the same problem, when indicating the trailer light does not flash as not enough power is being used, when l use the hazards it does flash as both indicator globes must be drawing enough...

    I never put the original in the holder on my trailer. Make a photo copy & put it in, if lost repeat.

    The green original bleaches out to the same colour anyway, have never had a problem.
