Re: Missing 4x4 person Please help.

It makes sense but this is not the thread to discuss buying one. Related yes but not on topic at all.

Re: Missing 4x4 person Please help.

How did a thread of a missing/murdered person get derailed into a discussion about motorhomes.

    Maybe start a new thread.

    Re: Ryobi RG 2600i

I have the same unit and it's been good to be honest. Load shedding will hit us again soon with winter in full swing and it will be powering all the electronic goods and some lamps in the house. ...

Re: Rattles on a 2018 GV

    Thanks guys

Will spend a little time on it this weekend.

I do still have the spare wheel cover on. I know it's not the parcel shelf as it makes the same noise without it fitted.

    Rattles on a 2018 GV

Thanks to some spirited dirt road driving I now have 2 rattles that are driving me nuts.
The first is the tailgate I think and the second sounds like it's coming from the b-pillar right by my right...
  8. Re: Suzuki Jimny ground clearance with a mountain bike?

I can only imagine it would have to do with clearance when ascending or when the nose lifts upwards going through a ditch.
I have plenty clearance on my GV but the towbar will catch when working my...

    Re: Ryobi 2600 starting issues

I tried returning it to Makro this morning. They don't accept returns during lockdown so it will have to stay in the box until the end of lockdown.

    Re: Ryobi 2600 starting issues

I purged the motor twice to ensure that isn't the problem. Will double check everything again and purge again.

The rope starts off loose and suddenly ramps up. If that bit of info helps.

RG-2600i. I've seen some bad reviews on them but the majority were good.

I'm not overly impressed and my guess is something failed hence the sputtering before I switched it off.

    Re: Ryobi 2600 starting issues

Thanks. I bought it 2 weeks ago. Set it up and tested it. Worked 100%. Fuel won't gum up a carb in two weeks.
I did blast the carb with brake cleaner to double check. No luck.

    Hi all

I'm hoping someone else has had a similar issue.

  20. Re: Routes in Gauteng suitable for softroaders (Grand Vitara)

I think 4x4 is needed but Iím sure a 4x2 with locker in the right hands will do fine.
  21. Re: Suzuki Grand Vitara keyless starting immobiliser problem/fix?

I thought so. What made me ask the question is that both keys do it. Must be a random spot of luck that both need replacing at the same time.
  22. Re: Suzuki Grand Vitara keyless starting immobiliser problem/fix?

Reviving this as I have a similar problem.

When I get into the car the blue key is illuminated. Starts 100% but as soon as I drive off the orange key and chime comes on showing no key detected. ...

  30. Re: 2018 Grand Vitara. Transfer Case oil leak?

I assume both if those would have an effect on the engine itself. Misfires etc and if it affects the fuel gauge it would have been intermittent.
