    Our old faithful (with Forum help) is still going strong although lately very under-utilized.

    My problem is mainly with non-essential comfort related issues.

    For about 3 -4 years now have had 2 linked 100AH batteries providing 12V directly to NL fridge, etc., some items via 1 000W Inverter, some 12v DC.

    I have used modified sine wave inverters for many years without losing my DSTV decoder or LG TV or ... well actually anything.
    I recharge camera, satphone and cell phone and tablets, laptop when out...

    When we were last there in Sep. 2018 Hobas had amazingly good facilities and nice shaded campsites.
    Also near to the canyon viewpoint.
    A nice "oasis".
    Ais-Ais have not been there for many moons...

    Yes indeed.

    The engine was donated by SAC (Mine was totally beyond any hope).
    Rebuilt (I believe they prefer to use therm "re-engineered") by REMTEC.
    It was installed in the Suuz by SAC.

    If the flat spots are even across the width of the tyre and spaced around the circumference I would suspect the shock absorbers.

    Check rims for integrity (out of round) especially if off-roading...

    Spend some time there.
    That is if time and cost are not serious issues.

    Our KZN GTG banner has been rejuvenated as promised.

    Washed off all the accumulated dust mud and general grime bringing out the original colours.
    New lanyard type clips in each of the top...
