    Re: What Kettle?

We have tried kettles with folding handles and they always gets hot. Fixed position handle works the best.
We use this one but not on open fire. Gas and coals.645523

I would say a relay will help. Power to the coil via ignition. But it will take me an enormous effort to make diagram for it since I'm just a DIY'er. One of our resident "sparky's" will hopefully be...

Re: Discovery 2 trailer plug relocation.

You can put it anywhere closeby. Using a piece of angle iron perhaps and bolt it to that hole at the bottom of the receiver.

Re: Charger size vs Battery size?

At last we have two members that know how batteries work. @KobudDJ and @neoT is hitting the nail on the head. A lead acid battery works around 2,1V per cell. Nothing can be done about that. NiCd and...

    Re: Booster Cable Amps?

I think you went overboard there. The higher the voltage the lower the voltage drop. I made myself 7meters jumpers from 35mmsq for the same purpose and they also perform flawlessly. Even when the low...

  30. Re: Digital Tyre Inflator - Petrol Stations/Garages

I don't foresee that the majority of garages will regularly have their gauges calibrated, just like now. Remember, this is South Africa, the place of Zuma, Ace & kie.
  31. Re: Digital Tyre Inflator - Petrol Stations/Garages

Use your gauge always. Make sure its the only gauge you use. Then you don't need to worry about inconsistent garage gauges.
I made up a Wika gauge and thats all I use. So my tyres are always...
