Make sure that the bolt and nut are high tensile steel, 8.8 or even 12.9 will do the job.

To cross into Botswana you need a negative PCR test not older than 72 hrs, you will be given a rapid test at the border. Getting back into SA is a bit murky as there is a chance that a rapid test at...

Re: Maun to kasane via savuti

Awesome that gives me some options, I am planning to Kasane to Linyanti in a day for a 2 day stay then on to Magotho also for a 2 day stay. A Muchenje refuel means that we can really explore.

Tried that and they told me it was fine but as soon as the tank was empty it failed. I eventually found a Toyota workshop foreman that knew his stuff and he explained that the V6 has a dual chamber...

Re: Hilux V6 Hesitation at low RPM

A simple check on the fuel pump is to test it when the tank is near empty, if it is worse than when the tank is full then I would lean towards the fuel pump being the problem.

This year there was rain during the first half of April nil in the second half, but I have seen reports of severe storms in April as in damaging hailstones. I would plan for some rain

    Seikel 4x4 AuxiliaryTank

The actual problem in this case was not a price differential but a dispute about an expected discount so you are solving the wrong problem.
