    When I got mine I flipped plastic form over and filled with jointing resin you get for fixing cables. The plastic is long gone but resin lasts the age. This and all the extras in it as well.

    If you get the right size fuel hose and route it up high enough into wheel arch and put fish tank aerator in the top you should be well away. Did this on my Safari in early days. Never had a problem.
