    Re: I don't like NP300

I had mine done through a friend about 15 years ago. I don't know who he got to do it. He has since closed his Panel Beater business and has moved to Europe.

    Re: Recovery boards from China

You stop as soon as your wheels reach hard ground and remove them. You can go a little way on hard ground, the vehicle just gets lifted up by the ends of the wood, nothing serious happens .....

    Re: I don't like NP300

    Kobus,

When you raise the Sani/Hardbody/NP300 front suspension, you will notice that the tie-rods do not run parallel to the ground (ie level) any more.

That causes the tie-rod ends to fail due...

    Re: Recovery boards from China

Yes, I have these, that I saw a local use in the Chobe area, only he used tree branches, not planks. I was amazed how effective and simple they were. I do not have a video of how they work.

Cole Hersee won't help for LiFePO4, Gel or AGM batteries which need to be charged at 14.4v. Your voltage regulator limits you alternator output to 13.8 v, and that is what is pushed through the Cole...

  30. Re: Guessing I have no option but to replace this tyre?

NEVER, BUT NEVER fit a tube to a tubeless tyre and rim.

First issue is the the hole on the rim is not the correct size for a tube's valve (the hole for a tubeless valve is a lot smaller) so the...

Thank you Marlan, although not much life left, I think they will work well as a test set of tires, to see if 285/70 x 17 tyres will work on my vehicle. Should be able to to 10k to 15k km on them.
