    Re: Modified sine wave inverter

Fortunately 99.9% of camping fridges run off, or can run off, or should run off, 12V DC. No point of inverting 12V DC to 220V AC, to then immediately convert 220V AC back down to 12V DC to run a...

Until you need a COC or your house burns down.

Re: 12V LED lights on existing 220V wires?

Current carrying capacity has just about nothing to do with it. Length of wire and resulting volt drop are the issue. As is volt drop across switches and joints and contacts.

    You have only catered...

    Re: Lithium 444 first impressions?

At face value, given that one takes the correct approach for the load, it would make a really good UPS for load shedding.

Especially as you can move it around easily.

    Re: Solar Panel Question

Its a panel rated for use in a 12V system. That DOESNT mean its a 12V panel.

It means the voltage is such that it will charge a 12V battery, which means it has to be about 13 odd Volts at a...

I would use the 40A and the BMS systems in the batteries will look after and protect them nicely.

This is an advantage of decent Lithium based batteries that is often overlooked.
