    Thanks for your experience Francois, I would imagine if this is the case, the knock would be permanent. It has however completely disappeared.
    I shall mention it to the mechanic when i take it in.

    Wiel, that is what I would have thought, but the whole of the face of the sealing part is solid rubber, no little vacuum release button, hence my question.

    Ja, Hunter I am aware of the principle of the system but how does the cap 'open' to let the vacuum created in the radiator overcome the positively closed spring to let the coolant return?

    Just have it outside with a bit of flexible duct into the tent.

    Beautiful machine! I don't know if your can still get LRP fuel in KZN but if you're using ULP, it's advisable to throw a little bottle of 'Valve Guard' by Wynns to every 60 litres fuel.

    Sold our Tentco 2.4X2.4 Bow a couple of years ago for over a grand more than we paid for it after 10 years service. (Maybe 15 nights a year)
