Sticky: Re: Bird photo's for comment & crit

Took this one in Rietvlei a while back with my SX40HS Powershot. Been thinking of upgrading the camera, but actually don't use it that much any more due to various factors. For now it will have to be...
  3. Re: Pajero Sport Engine sounds - what is normal?

Should be, but sometimes they skip it if it still looks OK. All depends on the agent. See if you can find invoices for the 90 000km service.
  4. Re: Pajero Sport Engine sounds - what is normal?

100% agreed as well, that is what the 2.5 sounds like and behaves like.
  5. Re: Pajero Sport Engine sounds - what is normal?

    You again [emoji23]

To be honest, I have never given my engine sounds on my 2.5 that much attention, rather just enjoying the diesel clatter. I must add that my snorkel gives a nice induction...

Re: Recommendations for AT tyres for CX-5?

I love my Pirelli AT +. Not only do they look the part, but they perform well in most conditions I have driven them - long stretches of Karoo dirt roads, sand, rocks. No worries.

    Just note that...

I checked about a week ago, still no updates for the Apple products. Pity, I need it for my upcoming road trip.

Re: 09-15 PS owners, please educate me

Hi. I know my 2.5 has xenons as well as the new 2.4. Cannot complain about the performance. My FIL has 3.2anf his headlights could be better, they seem a bit dull to my eyes, perhaps halogen or just...

Re: 09-15 PS owners, please educate me

Do all Autos have shift paddles? or is it the 2.5's only? all spec levels?

Only the 2.5 has shift paddles, I use mine quite often when I feel the auto is a bit slow to kick down.

    I know my 2.5...

Re: What did you do to your Mitsu Today ?

Got them on a special for R4000, discs and pads for the front. Normal price was about R5500. If you buy Mitsubishi ones, it will cost around the same price, but you will not get the performance...

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

Stem saam.

    Re: Pajero Sport Thread

Well, I can tell you this much, my FIL loaded 4 Jerry cans, wood, and a spare tyre on a Front Runner rack that just straps onto the standard rails.

After a whole trip through the Namib, he noticed...
  30. Re: Does it overheat: Compressor 180 Litre Per Minute in Ammo Box

FIL has one, pumped up a few tyres in succession without any overheating. It's a good solid pump. Just check the pipe fittings after use, you can almost weld with them, they get very hot.

Re: Pajero Sport - 2019 - Fuel Consumption

My dad owns a 2018 model 2.4 4x4 and gets around 11-12km/l on the open road. In town probably 10-11km/l.

Your 2015 is quite heavy on fuel, perhaps you have a bit of a lead foot? [emoji23]

Re: Clunk noise on Pajero Sport. Help please

So not sure exactly which bolt was loose, but on mine it was a similar issue. MMER located the loose bolt and tightened it up. Apparently somewhere behind the bash plate.
