Re: Amarok Auto and Torsen Centre Diff

I've been at it for 15 years now.
But yeah, you eventually get to a point where you trust the system, and sure as heck, you arrive on the other side.

    Re: Cooling when Camping

Absolutely. Our Oct Richtersveld trip turned into a real fight to survive. We will not do that again.

Re: The importance of 3-ply side wall?

    Yeah, I suppose.
I saw the other day that my relatively new GY Adventure tyres are LT spec, I honestly didn't even realise when I had them fitted.
I Googled around and discovered that the LT spec...

Re: Isuzu MUX Apple or Android

So now there are two spots you have no idea where to find.
    On topic:
Have you tried plugging the phone in and then to hit the Android Auto icon on your phone..... see if anything happens??

Re: Isuzu MUX Apple or Android

So the MUX does have Android Auto.
    Jaconell, what is your problem?
Are you entering the age bracket where cellphone technology goes over your head :-)

Re: Gets hot when AC is running

There doesn't have to be a separate electric fan for the AC. My 3.8V6 Pajeros neither my current Chevy were blessed with electric AC fans.

Re: Isuzu MUX Apple or Android

No Android Auto on the MUX?
If true, I suggest you go Apple.

    Re: Throttle Controller

    Jaco,
I had an Isuzu 3.0 DC (2015 model). The instantaneous fuel consumption readout showed that 5th gear consumption was "limited" to 30l/100km. I always assumed it was to protect 5th gear and to...
  15. Re: When did 18 inch wheels become the norm on bakkies?

    I went from 265/6018 to 265/7516.
There is no doubt that high speed stability is significantly compromised by the bigger sidewall. I'm not surprised that the bakkie manufacturers are going for...
  16. Re: 2017 Trailblazer electronic seat adjustment

I also saw that when mine was new. I followed up and it doesn't exist. The programming allows for the functionality, but it wasn't built into our Chevies.

    Re: Correct Tyre Replacement

    1) I assume you do know that you will need 18" rims for your intended wheels.
    2) Your current 20" wheels are nearly 8% larger than your spare, which will really not be healthy to run should you now...

    Re: Joining the MUX club

I must confess, I didn't see this post coming.
I have always been convinced the benefit is purely placebo. Now I'm not that convinced anymore.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Re: Pajero Towbar Wiring

Please ensure your ignition is on. If not, the trailer lights won't work!
The "black box" is in the well for the 3rd row seats, below some insulating layer (if I recall correctly).
