    Re: Help with Sani Pass

I went up about 2 weeks ago.

At the time they insisted on a covid test to cross into Leshoto/Back into SA.

However you could happily drive up to the border and come back down without a test,...

Re: Killarney New Rules and Regulations

I frequently go to Killarney 4x4. I live 30 minutes away from the place.

Firstly, it's a great venue with safe camping and great facilities, the birdlife in the park is incredible.

    But.

  5. Re: What are the must watch African YouTube Overland Chanels

    Look at the geographical distribution.

I'd Hazzard a guess 80% of his following are international and not SA.

    Pre Hilux.

Now with the Hilux that 80% will probably drop and he'll get more...

  7. Re: Should I reconsider my loyalty to Cooper??

    I wont touch Cooper again.

Poll: Re: Types of 4x4 enthusiast

Can't vote in the poll no clue why.

None the less, I fall into all 3.

I am though, less inclined to tackle grade 5 stuff now days than I was say 2 years ago. Those were expensive lessons.

    Re: 4x2 SUV’s - what’s their purpose?

4x4 or 4x2 does not matter In my opinion, if you're getting out there, living the outdoor life and being a good person in the bush, I don't care what you drive.

Just get off the damn tar road and...
  12. Re: Ford Facebook group, have I made a mistake?

  13. Re: What are the must watch African YouTube Overland Chanels

Problem I found when "filming" is you spend so much time composing, shooting B roll, staging stuff that your family sits there alone and the wonderful "holiday" becomes a chore.

    So for me, I do...

Re: Advice on buying a Ranger 3.2 DC 4x4

    I drive a 3.2 daily.
Drove the poo out of it in the beginning. Cost me big money thinking it was a Rubicon.

That said, it's 7 years old, 147000km on the clock.

Re: Kumho vs Wrangler vs General Grabber

The common misconception is Kevlar sidewalls, which is apparently not true IN South Africa, only the tread has the Kevlar fibre in.

    Their sidewalls are soft unfortunately.
