When you say rear seats do you mean seats 6 & 7, or seats 3 - 5?

I would say a SIIA with lights on the grill and metal dash is more of a classic than a SIII with lights on the fenders and plastic dash.

    Re: Carb conversion

One thing not to forget if you replace fuel injection with carb is to also replace the fuel pump with a low pressure unit, otherwise it pushes open the carb needle floats and flood the engine.

    Re: Defender 110-Terrafirma Shocks

My OME steering damper is the only one of 5 OME shocks bought together that is working trouble free. I did change over to the spring biased Terrafirma steering damper at the time I fitted the Big...

    Re: Defender 110-Terrafirma Shocks

Yes LP4A is a pretty good bunch. I see British 4x4 also stock ProComp now in stead of TF shocks, although they still offer TF coils on their website.

I've been running TF Big Bores (standard length) on my rear axle for several years now, no problems and keeps everything well under control. Just heed the installation instructions, apparently some...
  12. Re: Drive line vibration, lift and caster angle questions LC 76

Extended rear shackles will cause the pinion to point in the wrong direction, so you need wedges to correct the angle and restore propshaft input/output alignment to minimise the hum.

    Re: Engel fridge door hinges.

By changing the connector on the lid around you could have the gas strut keep the lid closed and open.

Re: Guys, PLEASE!!! ALWAYS 4x4 on gravel

Corrugations are a result of vehicle suspension natural frequency oscillations. Driven wheels bounce up and down and the short "spin" cycles make it worse. 4x4 just reduce the spin on individual...
