Re: The 2.4 Hilux Revo SRX GD-6 Double Cab Thread

Been through this thread a few times (+ the one from Uys).

I cannot see any serious complaints from 2.4 SRX DC owners?

Re: The Volkswagen up! as a viable city car choice

Such a pity that they stopped bringing them in. I really think that this is a great little city car. Would have perhaps seen some better sales had we receive the auto specification and even the TSi.

    1) Mahindra will be better on fuel economy
    2) -
    3) Both should be fine. Nissan might have better trade but this is my speculation. Just stay away from the Bolero,

  28. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

I think it is just one. From where I sit and work in the dining room, I can see it coming in to land. Almost sure it's just one.

Some people complain, but I actually enjoy the sound.
  29. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

There is a Grippen at Waterkloof AFB at the moment providing background noise to my Skype meetings.

Not a bad sight, can see it taking off every now and then.
  30. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

I stay next to the base. Yes there were 13 landings, but it was the same one. Took off, circled around and landed again.

I phoned a school friend who is a prosecutor in the SA Army based in Potchefstroom.
