    Good day gents,

    I have been having an issue with my brakes lately - they have become soft, necessitating me having to give it a second pump to get proper breaking.

    No leaks, full brake fluid...

    Yes, brakes were fitted by Toyo Services in Krugersdorp - don't think they are Toyota original spares.

    Only issue was two torn CV rubber boots.

    New boots: R2000 per set (per side), thus R4k for new CV joint covers :-(

    I have a 2006 VX Prado 4.0L with 140,000km on.

    Vehicle in very good condition. Did a Ironman Foam Cell suspension upgrade about 6 months ago.

    Was having a rattle, and climbed underneath...

    My mate had exactly the same issue on his Hilux. turned out that the propshaft was too short after the upgrade, and he had to lengthen the propshaft by a cm or so. Thereafter perfect.
