    Het nog nie die 3.0 op die oop pad ver gevat nie.

    I fitted (well not today but last week) 245/70R16's on my fordjie - at TWT R1580 per tyre all in. Velocity raptors - hope they are OK tyres. I dont do much serious offroad these days.

    In the dry season its a mild track, but after rains it can change into 3 - 4 grading in some places.

    Been driving it for a week after the thermostat replacement, and it still pushes some water into the reservoir - a lot less than before but not completely fixed.

    OK so I took it to silverton radiators and there prognoses - thermostat aint opening properly. Bottom pipe stays kinda cool while top one heats up.


    Will have a new one fitted and then Ill see...

    Its a bit of a lemon with multiple problems but the price reflected that.

    It doesnt overflow from what I could see. What I did is fill up the radiator until full, replace cap. Then I drain the water reservoir to its full line which is quite low in the tank. Then I drive...

    Would there be any other signs for this as the oil is clean, no white residue even the oil filler cap is neat and clean. Also if it burns that mush water in the combustion chamber wouldn't the engine...
