    Re: Ruacana or Epupa falls

A one day return trip to Epupa from Opuwo will be hell. Not worth it. Epupa is about the experience, not about a quick glance and a tick on the bucket list.

Fit roof rack on canopy or on DC roof?

It looks like the load will be better distributed if the rack is fitted on the roof, particularly if the rear is already loaded by a camping trailer on the towbar and a packed loadbin.
    But having...

You have turned the charger and charge status on. That is working fine. You have not turned the 12vdc on. That is why your lights and fridge are not working. There is a 10 second delay from turning...

I can't find the display on my 2018 v6 although the Owners Manual discusses it.

    Still new to Amarok v6

I will probably have more questions as I get to know the Amarok.
How often does the Adblue need topping up?
Any method to determine what the remaining quantity is?
    Are rocksliders necessary or...

    Dankie vir al die insette.
Ek het n Amarok v6 gekoop. Dit ry baie lekker. Die Pajero gaan bietjie rus in die motorhuis.

Oil temp on Amarok v6 MFD

We received our 2018 Amarok v6 on Friday. So far it is a fantastic drive. I still have the Pajero so it will be difficult to select the tow vehicle for the next trip. But I think the Amarok's quiet...

Re: Amarok and trailer plug issues

Tx for the tip. But I need a bit more info please.
How do you do the 'in parallel' connection? Or do you mean 'in series'?
Please make a sketch and post a photo of that.
  18. Re: Are there any Double Cabs without serious technical issues:

A good proposal. Road test reports show that it has everything except the ability to handle corrugated gravel roads comfortably. That kills it for me.
  19. Re: Are there any Double Cabs without serious technical issues:

Thanks for the info. I owned a Triton 2010. The loadbay was only 1310mm long. I did not realise that the newer shape had stretched significantly. This makes the Triton a serious contender.
  20. Re: Are there any Double Cabs without serious technical issues:

Triton load bin is far too short. Otherwise fine.
Mazdz has same engine as the Ranger.
Amarok too expensive for 2017 model. And the low power in reverse is a concern.
  21. Are there any Double Cabs without serious technical issues:

I want a Double Cab for the packing space. I have a Pajero which I will keep. The Paj load area gets very crowded when packing for a long vacation. My budget is around R500k means 2017 models are...

  23. Who can make an awning like this - in Cape Town area

The awning in the photos is from an Armadillo 302.
I like the way it works and would like to fit a similar one to my on order trailer which only comes with a 270 wing awning.
    The Armadillo awning...

    Re: Invader owners thread

Yep. This is a known problem. The newer DUOs have a slipper plate welded to the chassis instead of the bolt (mine is 2018).
I'm sure you can do the mod - or do the maintenance.

I have placed an order for the new Enkulu 2.
Now is the time for me to arrange customization.
Advice or suggestions from actual Enkulu 2 owners will be appreciated.

Has anyone used a more tent-like awning?
Or modified the swing awning to be an effective tent?7
Using 6 sides seems a bit much.
